KS1 2D Shapes Activity

A selection of cards with 2D shapes on them and the properties of these shapes, which can be laminated. Children can use them in different ways e.g. cut out all the cards, lay them all out and match the properties card and name card to the shape card, play a game of snap or use the shape cards as flash cards.

Shapes covered: circle, triangle, square, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon and octagon.
